I woke up the following day and saw how beautiful the area actually was. It was right on the beach and palm trees rested at the edge of the sand, as the coastline stretched on for miles. This was, in a word, paradise. Mar Del Plata was nice, but this was even better.

Now I just needed a job.
The plan was to stay for the summer and then get on a team somewhere in the fall. So I didn’t want to apply for a career job that would require I stay around. Something temporary would be perfect.
I applied online for a few bouncer jobs in Fort Lauderdale and got a few interviews. I didn’t have a car, so I took the bus into the heart of the city, about thirty minutes away. Within the first week I got a job at a place downtown. The hours were 8 PM to 4 AM. However, after a few days I needed to find something better.
